Diet Coke's "You're on" campaign generated plenty of buzz, but it wasn't the kind the iconic brand had hoped to create. Instead, bloggers and social media users parodied and poked fun at the way the ads reminded them of drug use. The classic "Just for the taste of it" slogan has been revived to replace the ill-fated campaign. Coca-Cola North America's Stuart Kronauge says the company wanted "a different way to talk about the brand."
