Language immersion experiences extend beyond school day

More school districts are launching dual language programs, but demand for such programming also has sparked expansion of immersion learning programs after school, according to this article. In Madison, Wis., supplemental language programs for German, Russian, Chinese and more offer language classes after school or on weekends. Some program also are opening summer camps to provide even more language learning and cultural interaction among students.
