Survey: Recommendations are most-trusted resource for women

Women are more trusting of recommendations from their friends than any type of paid advertising, according to a study from Ladies' Home Journal. Nearly 3 in 4 say their friends' opinions play a regular role in their purchase decisions, and 82% say they often share opinions on products and services. After recommendations, women trusted branded websites and magazine advertisements the most.
