Bookshare.org subscribers gain access to 17,000 texts

Special education teachers across the country are using Bookshare.org to legally purchase copyrighted material for the visually impaired. The digital service enables students to download titles which can then be listened to with text-to-speech software, viewed with magnifying screen readers or uploaded into Braille readers.
