Florida cities consider condo-hotel ordinances

The Florida cities of Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach are considering ordinances to set new rules for condo-hotels, as concerns rise about the potential impact of such projects on the communities. Under one proposed ordinance in Hollywood, Fla., condos would need to have at least 200 units, and the units would need to be rented by different individuals at least six times a year.
