Larger cruise ships raise evacuation questions

Some experts question whether gigantic cruise ships such as Royal Caribbean's new Freedom of the Seas can be safely evacuated in emergencies. Cruise lines don't have to prove they can get every passenger off the ship in a set amount of time, unlike airlines. But cruise line companies including Royal Caribbean work with the Coast Guard and other entities to work on safety drills.
