NextGen, aviation funding top issues at Aviation Summit

NextGen, the future of aviation funding and concerns about the economy were top issues discussed last week at the 8th Annual Aviation Summit hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. AOPA president Craig Fuller led a panel on NextGen, calling system modernization crucial and noting that the general-fund contribution to the FAA would be reduced and about $7 billion a year in user fees would be added under President Barack Obama's budget plan.
