Regulators probing duty time at Colgan Air

Federal investigators of a commuter crash that killed 50 near Buffalo, N.Y., are questioning whether some of the operator's crew members may have exceeded regulatory limits on flight time. Colgan Air, which operated Continental Connection Flight 3407, said the query is "routine" and not connected to the upcoming NTSB hearings on the February crash. A company spokesman stressed that Colgan Air pilots "operate and are scheduled in full compliance with federal regulations."
