Agents debate storefronts vs. home-based businesses

Home-based travel agents often tout the benefits of their situation, particularly lower overhead. But agents who work out of a traditional agency say there are benefits to having a storefront as well. Some storefront agencies have independent contractors who would prefer to work in an office instead of from home in a type of hybrid model. Those who work in storefront agencies say the atmosphere provides a culture that can't be replicated in an at-home agency.
