Citigroup says it wasn't involved in erroneous trades

A significant value of the stock market was wiped out in minutes Thursday, and regulators, exchanges and other market participants are striving to find the cause. Citigroup said it did not find evidence that it was involved, and CME Group supported Citi's findings. "We, along with the rest of the financial industry, are investigating to find the source of [Thursday's] market volatility," said Stephen Cohen, a Citigroup representative. "At this point, we have no evidence that Citi was involved in any erroneous transaction."
