Food culture shifts from basics to blogs

People in their 20s belong to "probably one of the most educated food generations ever," says Cheryl Brown, editorial director of the Slashfood website. But in many cases, a focus on food blogs and eating trends has replaced an understanding of basic cooking techniques such as roasting a chicken, said Brown and others.
