U.S. job market sees its largest gain in 4 years

The nation's job market improved in April as employers added 290,000 positions nationwide, according to the Labor Department. The unemployment rate, which measures the number of people looking for work, rose to 9.9% from 9.7% a month earlier as people came back into the market. Last month's increase was the largest in four years.
