Wisconsin agency cautions against increased Lyme disease threat

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has warned that pets are at increased risk for Lyme disease because of an unusual growth of deer ticks this spring season. To prevent pets from getting infected with Lyme disease, a local veterinarian suggests providing pets with annual vaccinations and tick treatments.
