BIM adoption, use will expand at a rapid pace, report says

Forty-six percent of the firms responding to a McGraw-Hill Construction survey say they use BIM on infrastructure projects, up from 27% two years ago. It also found that 67% of users see a positive return on investment from using BIM. "The transition to digitally based collaborative processes for infrastructure work started later than it did with buildings," said McGraw-Hill Construction's Stephen Jones. "But we expect it will gain traction more quickly and have profoundly positive effects."
