Boeing will boost production amid demand for new aircraft

The strong demand for newer, more fuel-efficient jets as a result of rising passenger traffic and high fuel prices has Boeing struggling to keep up with new orders, this feature says. The aircraft-maker expects to deliver 585 to 600 planes this year and plans to increase production on its 777, 787 Dreamliner and 737 model airplanes in the coming months.
