Mothers often are unaware of their toddlers' weight problems

About 70% of low-income mothers misjudged their children's size, choosing a silhouette that was at least two sizes larger or smaller, a study showed. More than 90% of mothers of overweight children underestimated their child's actual size, researchers reported in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.
