Look at military strategy and sequester wraps up

The Pentagon's review of its military strategy and how it will handle sequestration cuts is almost finished, said Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter this week. It appears that a majority of the programs in place now will fare reasonably well, despite the cuts, Carter said. Part of the reason the strategic direction will stay mostly intact is that the Defense Department is getting permission to shift some funding into war spending.
