Polymer solar cell can achieve 8.92% power-conversion efficiency

Researchers at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology have developed a polymer solar cell, which they say has a power conversion efficiency of 8.92%. Polymer solar cells are lighter than silicon-based solar cells, they note, while also being flexible and less expensive to make.
