Terrafugia transitions from the road to the sky

Terrafugia unveiled plans for the TF-X: a four-seat, hybrid electric car that fits inside of a standard garage, and is also capable of vertical takeoffs and landings. Its "manual" and "automatic" settings will determine how much human control is required, and will even be able to land itself. "We are passionate about continuing to lead the creation of a flying-car industry and are dedicating resources to lay the foundations for our vision of personal transportation," said CEO Carl Dietrich.
