Edison's Future In Question

Edison Schools' recent financial woes have sparked worries that the company may not still be in business by September, when it is scheduled to take over management of 20 underperforming Philadelphia schools, a report says. Analysts say the company may have difficulty raising the estimated $37 million to cover start-up costs for new sites. Edison's stock price has fallen 70% since mid-April.
