Trencher used to cut where blasters couldn't

Worcester, Mass.-based Marois Brothers Inc. has a contract to help a condominium and apartment development excavate soil laced with decades-hardened concrete. The company says blasters wouldn't do the job, and they resorted to using a trenching machine, which can chew through solid rock and concrete.
