Speedy contractor wins job to repair collapsed Oakland highway

C.C. Myers Inc., of Rancho Cordova, Calif., has been awarded the state contract to rebuild the collapsed section of highway approaching the San Francisco Bay Bridge in Oakland, Calif. The contractor has a reputation for making fast repairs to highways, and it came in with a low bid suggesting that the project could be completed before Caltrans' June 27 deadline.
