Deutsche Telekom CEO: We'll study Sprint buyout

Germany's Deutsche Telekom is mulling whether to pursue Sprint Nextel, said CEO Rene Obermann, who explained that Europe's largest telecom company and parent company of T-Mobile USA had an obligation to consider a buyout. "We can't rule out acquisitions which, when evaluated under strict financial and business criteria, would bring a clear profit and return on investment," he said Thursday.
