Maathai: Women hurt most by climate change

Women in impoverished countries suffer more from climate change than do men, Nobel Peace laureate Wangari Maathai said Tuesday. As many men move away from areas hit by drought, crop failures or other effects to find better conditions, women tend to remain home with their children where they are dependent upon local natural resources, Maathai said.
