Nonprofit organizations should "think big"

Hispanic nonprofit agencies get only about 1.2% of donations from national foundations. But California-based Hispanics in Philanthropy so far this year has raised $35 million and made grants to 427 Hispanic nonprofits. Their success comes from thinking big and creating a talent bank of Hispanic leaders who could fill vacancies on boards and staffs in businesses, foundations and nonprofits.
