Soaring fuel prices prompt Delta to close lounges

The need to manage costs has prompted Delta Air Lines to close nine airport lounges in the U.S. and the U.K. The airline also plans to convert its BusinessElite lounges at the Atlanta airport and at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport into Crown Room Clubs.
