Texas construction employment takes a dip

Texas' economy has been slumping since the beginning of the year, but the state is still faring better than the rest of the country, according to a new report from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. While payroll employment increased in the state, construction employment was an exception, with industry employment dropping at an annual rate of 3.8% in March after a stronger February.
