Souter replacement debate not likely to face filibuster, says Republican senator:

The Senate Judiciary Committee's top Republican is leaning against filibustering President Barack Obama's choice to succeed Justice David Souter. Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., is relying on a precedent set during the Bush administration among party moderates to only use the tactic in rare circumstances. However, he did not rule out the option entirely.
