Touch screens gain traction among laptop makers

Taiwanese notebook makers Wistron, Quanta Computer, Asustek Computer and Acer are developing new models with touch-screen capabilities, according to this report. This story goes on to say that the developments are timed to take advantage of the upcoming launch of Windows 7, and the new devices are expected to roll out in the second half of 2009.
