Airbus is developing fix for A380 wing cracks

Airbus Executive Vice President Tom Williams says the aircraft-maker has found a long-term fix for the small cracks found in the Broughton-made wings of many A380. Williams points to the choice of material as well as the design as the causes for the cracks, but cautions that it will take until the end of the year to fully develop and test the new design with the corrections.
