Embraer teams with University of Sao Paulo to study comfort

Embraer is taking the science of improving passenger comfort to another level with the new Comfort Engineering Center at the University of Sao Paulo. The center's laboratory features two full-size E-Jet cabins that will help researchers study how factors such as cabin air pressure, noise and lighting affect "the perception of comfort." "The passenger's in-flight experience will increasingly be a decisive factor for the success of our aircraft on the global market," said Mauro Kern, an executive vice president at Embraer.
