Gogo spectrum purchase leaves future of MagnaStar service unclear

Gogo has signed a deal with LiveTV to acquire the latter's 1 MHz spectrum license along with the operational assets of the Airfone network, which provides simple air-to-ground data and voice service for many small-business aircraft. The acquisition leaves unclear what will happen to the MagnaStar digital phone service offered to regional and corporate aviation customers through the Airfone network.
