Memphis ranks as fattest city in U.S.

Memphis was named the fattest city in the nation by Newsweek magazine, with an obesity rate of 29.7%, followed by Richmond, Va., San Antonio, Virginia Beach, Va., and Columbus, Ohio. Only about half of Memphis residents get regular exercise, and only 56.7% eat fruits and vegetables regularly, according to the rankings, based on Gallup's Well-Being Index.
