Study links oxygen treatment to fewer diabetes cases in mice

A study in Diabetes revealed that daily hyperbaric oxygen treatment helped reduce the incidence of cyclophophamide-induced diabetes and spontaneous diabetes in non-obese diabetic mice. Researchers also noted lower insulitis and costimulation markers and increased CD62L expression in treated mice with prediabetes.
