Frequent clinic visits boost glycemic control in type 2 diabetes

Insulin-treated type 2 diabetes patients who had increased clinic visits attained A1C reductions of 1.7% at three months and 2% at six months, compared with a 0.14% decline at three months and 0.17% at six months in those who received standard care, a study indicated. The results were presented at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists annual meeting.
