South Korea issues warning on market "herd behavior"

South Korea's finance ministry let it be implicitly known the government is ready to take action if it detects signs of "herd behavior" in financial markets. "The level of alert has been rising recently against foreign capital flow in and out of bond markets and movements in foreign exchange rates. Authorities are now closely watching any acts intended to expand volatility unnecessarily in the foreign currency market," the ministry said.
