Clear Channel study shows power of radio ads

Radio ads help boost marketers' "sonic branding" and improve "top of mind" awareness among consumers, according to research from Marketing Evolution and Clear Channel. The results are based on an evaluation of an ad campaign for Romano's Macaroni Grill on Clear Channel stations in Dallas and three other markets, as well as on cable channels. "This study is crucial in showing the power that radio has to connect with consumers," said Tim Castelli, president of national sales, marketing and partnerships for Clear Channel.
