Fed's Tarullo seeks "rationalization" of Dodd-Frank rules

Daniel Tarullo, a Federal Reserve governor, on Thursday urged regulators to revisit how capital thresholds are determined for large financial firms. He also pitched the idea of letting midsize banks avoid certain rules. His argument is that the aims of the Dodd-Frank Act can be achieved in a less costly way.
