Consortium Aims To Fight World's Malnutrition

The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, led by Bill Gates' charitable foundation, says it plans to work with governments to assess nutritional deficits and make available fortified foods. The program has signed Kraft, Proctor & Gamble, H.J. Heinz and Roche. Critics say the corporations may just provide processed foods, which contain high amounts of fat, sugar and sodium.
