Wal-Mart Pushes Its Way Into Grocery Business

Traditional grocers reportedly are studying Wal-Mart's success in the industry for ways to keep up with the competition. While many customers say they drive a little further to get better bargains, some grocers say they are banking on shopper loyalty and the desire for products Wal-Mart does not carry. If traditional stores decide to compete for the same shoppers, they will have to slash profit margins, analysts say.
