Craigslist may get into journalism

Craigslist founder Craig Newmark says the online classified site could become a forum for community journalists, with users writing, fact-checking and critiquing news items. Newmark said he has consulted with Grassroots Media founder Dan Gillmor and Jeff Jarvis, author of the blog, on adding user-generated news to the craigslist site.
