Dell forecasts lower Q1 earnings

Amid a decline in its market share for personal computers, Dell said yesterday aggressive pricing tactics would cause it to report lower-than-expected earnings for the first quarter. Dell is facing increased competition from the likes of Hewlett-Packard, and analysts say Dell's customer service has faltered and has affected sales.
