Louisiana construction company owner hits Powerball jackpot

The owner of a Louisiana construction company who had two homes destroyed in Hurricane Katrina has become the largest Powerball winner in the state's history. The winner, 73-year-old Carl Hunter, won the $97 million prize but waited nearly four months to claim the winnings. When asked why he waited so long to claim the the winning ticket, Hunter said he wanted to wrap up some of his construction work and finish his outstanding contracts.
