Opinion: Petrochem manufacturing plays a "critical role" in U.S. energy policy

Petrochemicals remain essential for U.S. energy needs despite advances in fuels such as natural gas and ethanol, writes Charles T. Drevna, president of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association. "The reality is that fuels and other refined petroleum products and petrochemicals can and must continue playing a critical role in building a stronger, more prosperous America," he writes.
