3 design teams named for $700M makeover of D.C.'s National Mall

Three architectural teams have been named to oversee an estimated $700 million redesign of parts of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., according to the Trust for the National Mall. The selected design teams will be tasked with a particular area to redevelop: Rogers Marvel Architects and PWP Landscape Architecture for Constitution Gardens; OLIN and Weiss/Manfredi for the Washington Monument grounds; and Gustafson Guthrie Nichol & Davis Brody Bond for Union Square by the Capitol.
