The CEOs at the top four U.S. carriers sparred in their group session Tuesday at the International CTIA WIRELESS® conference, and Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse asserted that the industry has a credibility issue with consumers. Hesse made the comments in announcing a new policy to reassure subscribers that they have control over the ads they get on smartphones. AT&T and T-Mobile USA executives debated which carrier had the fastest network, while Verizon Wireless CEO Dan Mead insisted, "Verizon Wireless has the largest LTE network in the U.S."
