Physicians find positives, negatives to using EHRs

Physicians love several things about EHRs, such as better documentation and charge captures, but they dislike that there are multiple steps to completing a task and that there is no guarantee better efficiency will lead to increased productivity, experts said. While EHRs bring many changes to a physician practice, technology experts say the positive aspects outweigh the downsides.
