AMC Networks sees a 27% increase in ad sales

AMC Networks in Q1 tallied a 43% increase in earnings, to $61.5 million, thanks to a 27% increase in ad sales for its national cable channels, compared with the same period in 2012. Revenue went up 17% to $382 million.
