Ancient meteorites could be the source of water on Earth and the moon. Geochemists at Brown University studying moon rocks discovered similar hydrogen isotopes to those found on Earth. The scientists theorize that the commonality could stem from the impact on Earth that formed the moon about 100 million years ago.
