Aviation wasn't love at first flight, says blogger

For blogger Ron Rapp, aviation wasn't a part of his childhood much -- though he did get to visit the cockpit of a TWA Boeing 727 as a boy. It wasn't until after he lost both of his parents and was sent to live in Alaska with his cousin who was a pilot that he began to get interested in flying. Years later in California, he finally made the decision to begin flight training.
